Oneida has a handful of small airports, but Albany Airport, Syracuse Airport, and (more distant) Rochester Airport are the ones with commercial flights. Utica does have a good-sized Amtrak train station, though.

The most common ways to travel any distance from Oneida County include personal automobile, train, bus, and taxi.

Personal Automobile

These distances are from Utica. The mileage is for a one-way trip.

Train

The Utica Amtrak station is in the city's downtown area in the Boehlert Transportation Center at 321 Main St.

There is service to most of the airport cities listed above, though some might need to take a taxi or public transit to reach the airport from the train.

Long-Distance Bus

Utica's Greyhound bus station is adjacent to the train station, also in the Boehlert Transportation Center. The Center also is a hub for city and regional buses.
